Constant Hourglass, no blood, but I ain't dead yet...

So I found a copter and crashed it due to pilot error. I got the hour glass, but bled out before the hourglass ran out. However, when the hourglass ran out... I was left with an empty hour glass. I can't escape to the abort menu, I can't disconnect without killing the entire game. Any help with this would be appreciated.

After logging in a few times and going AFK, I finally either froze to death or died of hunger. Either way, one would think having no blood would be "dead enough."
